Captain Robert B. Rauff

Capt. Robert Rauff is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Detachment 520, Cornell University, New York, where he leads and instructs cadets in the completion and certification of all requirements to commission into the Air Force and Space Force.

Career

Capt. Rauff entered the Air Force in 2012 after graduating from Basic Military Training, Lackland AFB, Texas. Prior to commissioning, he served as a Crew Chief in the 90th Aircraft Maintenance Unit, where he maintained F-22s at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He then attended the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School, graduating with the Air Force Academy class of 2020. In 2023, he attained a Master of Education degree from Penn State University, Pennsylvania. Prior to his current position he was the Maintenance Flight Commander, 305th Maintenance Squadron, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey.
